Part of our Catholic faith is working to serve our brothers and sisters who are in need. CCM tries to offer chances to do this and to serve our local community as well as those in our global community.
Service Opportunities:
Sandwich Making for Catholic Worker
Twice a month on Wednesdays at 10am, we prepare sandwiches to be distributed to the “working poor” of Norfolk. They are the people who have jobs, but still find themselves with too little to survive. Would you like to participate in this year’s effort, help shop for food, or just help spread mustard? Check our bulletin or calendar of events to find out when our next sandwich making date is!
Big Events:
We have several events that take place once a year but are a great way to serve and get involved. Those include Trick or Treat for Canned Goods in October, and Relay for Life in the Spring. Please let us know if you have any other ideas for service, or know of any good opportunities to help those in need.
