Prayer Opportunities
At Catholic Campus Ministry we try to offer numerous opportunities to pray in a variety of ways. Here are a few of our current options.
Rosary
1. Tuesday’s after the 12:30 Mass at the CCM House. Feel free to join us as we pray the rosary following Daily Mass. We have rosaries for people to use and will guide you through if you never have prayed one before.
2. Before each Mass CCM celebrates we will pray a decade of the rosary. This includes our Sunday Mass, all are invited to join.
Evening Prayer
Join us in praying Evening Prayer each Wednesday at 5:45pm at the Lion Statue on Kauffman Mall. Prayer typically lasts 10-15 minutes and we invite all to join us.
Blessed Sacrament Chapel
We are blessed and privileged to have the Blessed Sacrament in our house. The Chapel is upstairs and while it is small, Jesus is there so please feel free to come and pray in His presence.
Prayer for Exams
A Prayer before Exams:
Loving and Gracious God:
You are the true font of light and wisdom,
and origin of life raised high beyond all things.
Pour forth a ray of Your brightness
into the darkened places of my mind;
disperse from my soul the twofold darkness
of sin and ignorance into which I was born.
You make eloquent the tongues of infants.
Refine my speech and pour forth upon my lips
and mind the goodness of Your blessing.
Grant to me keenness of mind, capacity to
remember, skill in learning, subtlety to
interpret, and eloquence in writing and speech.
May You guide the beginning of my work,
direct its progress, and bring it to completion.
I pray this to You, God the Father,
to Jesus, your Son, truly God and human,
and in the power of the Holy Spirit,
one living God, world without end. Amen.
